Hedgehog mittens

I saw some really fun looking hedgehog mittens recently so thought I would make myself a pair.  Mainly because I didnt want to pay 20 pounds for something I thought I could make with wool I already owned.

So as always when I crochet I make patterns up as I go along. This means I can't make it again and that pairs nevet match. You would think I would learn but no.
Anyway I found a blue wool in my stash perfect for hedgehogs. 

They were reasonably quick to make, a bonus to crochet, I left the thumb open so I can work my phone without taking them off.

I've only worn them once and have had requests to make another 2 pairs for other people ... I probably should write down the pattern so they match though. .....
