McCalls 6708 cardi pattern

In an attempt to stash bust.....  after I naughtilly  brought more fabric and patterns the other night.... I had to they were on offer...... I made this cardi pattern.  I've made it before and it fitted out of the packet so I made the same  view again without the pockets.

It goes together really quickly... less than an hour.  However I didn't fully follow the instructions as I used my overlocker. This resulted in bulky seams. 

The finished result is wearable though and it used a meter and a half of fabric.

I also used my sewing weights which worked when using the rotary cutter but not when using scissors.  I had to pin a couple of places but nothing like I would normally, especially with jersey.
