Kwik sew K3594 Bra pattern
Over the last couple of days I've sewn this bra pattern. It hasn't actually taken long to do but I didn't have all of the needed supplies and I work full time so have been doing it in the evenings.
They didn't do the size I needed so had to go up to the sister size. The finished result is good but the band is a little too loose. It is however a comfortable and wearable fist attempt. I used scraps of other fabrics and it would perhaps be better and more supportive should I have made it with the suggested fabrics.
If I made it again I would make it in the size down to see if it helps the fit, I would try it properly to see how the support changes. The straps adjust at the front and I found this meant the adjusters end up on my shoulders so I would make the straps shorter next time so it would hopefully keep them at the front.
The attached photo shows it modeled on Grace, she isn't the same size so I have had to pad her up a bit.
