Sewing goals for 2016

I have a lot of patterns and even after a huge sort out recently I still own a lot. The same goes for fabric. Over the next year I intend to use it or lose it, I may regret putting that in writing... There are also things I would like to make again and again and get use out of.

This list, compiled in June 2016, will be updated over the rest of the year, mainly so I can keep track of which I actually use.

Patterns I own

Dresses
McCalls M6123 I have made this dress previously but it was a poor fit out of the packet
Butterick B4790 The famous walkaway dress, I have made this previously

Tops
McCalls M6708 Easy knit cardy, have made this previously in style E. July style E no pockets. Didn't follow instructions and used overlocker which has left bulky seams.
Burda 6969 Dress & Top unused
Newlook 6086 tunic tops unused

Bottoms
Kwik sew K3636 Leggings, have made these lots, super easy and quick
Burda 6980 Pantskirts unused

Kwik sew K3881 Pants, I have made style A and they are super comfy June 2016
Kwik sew K3594 Bra, un-wired, made once June 2016, needs tweaking
Kwik sew K3167 Camisole and pants, have made B and C, cami offers no support June 2016
Elan #645 made August 2016 unhappy with fit needs tweaking...

Activewear
Lisette B6295 Tights sports bra and top made top with support July 2017
McCalls M7261 Tights and long sleeve top/hooded top, used the tights pattern twice, found it came up big for size, really big for size. Made top Jan 2017
New look 6403 Top and loose trousers, un-used

Books
The Great British Sewing Bee, Fashion with Fabric Have made a number of things from this and really want to like it but sometimes the instructions do not match up with the patterns or there are bits missing eg, kids shorts don't have the same size range on the pattern sheets as they do in the book.... Mens T-shirt June, came up short. Shell top hack July I lengthened 1.5" next time needs fba.
The Beginers guide to dressmaking Have used this lots for a really basic t-shirt pattern and loose fit trousers
Sew many dresses sew little time have made 4 dresses and 2 tops using this book, it is amazing, I recomend everyone gets a copy

Children's
Burda 9674 Cape, made this for daughter who has now outgrown it. Now removed from stash
Burda kids 9482 Leggings, joggers, jumper and hoodie, have made the leggings. - July 2016 made the hoodie for daughter and one for son. July 2017- leggings for daughter

Mens
Burda 6719 Men's Jogging Pants - July 2016 made the shorts variation. Sizing way too generous so made the size husband would buy rtw.

Other
Burda 6960 Doll Clothes - July 2016 made a couple of items with daughter.  Fiddly to sew.
